Media Application during the Games

• Please be informed that the media application will resume during 24 June ~ 6 July online from the homepage. Please collect your AD card from the MMC Accreditation Center after showing an effective ID, from 08:00, 24 June.

Access the Opening/Closing Ceremonies

• Due to the limited number of media seats, the access is only allowed to the accredited media representatives who carry access stickers on the AD cards. The stickers will be distributed from 09:00, 26 June(Wed) at Help Desk, MPC on the first-come-first-served basis. For any media who need the access but will arrive later than 26 June, please request by email to

Notice

• The modification of the media accreditation is possible on te Application list.
• AD card is not necessarily issued to every applicant.
• The information written on the application form should be identical to that of the effective ID.
• The progress of the accreditation after the submission of the application shall be checked via the registration state message.(Application submitted --> NOC verification --> OCA approval --> Approval completed)
• AD cards of the domestic media can be collected at the Media Accreditation Center on the day or the day before the competition.

Media Accreditation

• The media accreditation will be processed online through the OMAS only.
• If the application procedure for media accreditation is completed, the list of media accreditation applicants will be sent to each NOC to check that with its access codes distribution list. After the confirmation of the NOCs, the OCA will accept the media accreditation.
• The IAGOC will deliver the AD Cards of the applicants who applied before or on 30 April to each NOC.
• Time indicated on this Guide is the Korean Standard Time (GMT +09:00).
• Regarding the access to the opening and closing ceremonies, the press wishing to participate in these ceremonies should check the box on the registration form. Please be advised that the limited number of media seats may not guarantee the issuance of access tickets for every applicant.
• Please be advised that the completion of the accreditation application process does not automatically guarantee the issuance of the Media Accreditation Card.
• All the personal data to be filled in the application must be identical with those in the passport.
• The expiration date on the applicant's passport must be no earlier than July 21, 2013.
• After submitting your application, please keep checking the status of processing on the Application Menu.

• Media representatives should receive access codes (ID/Password) from the responsible NOCs.
• International News Agencies will receive access codes directly from the Incheon Asian Games Organizing Committee (IAGOC). Those agencies should send an e-mail to () to obtain the access codes.
